SURROGACY AND EGG DONOR EVALUATIONS:

These types of evaluations are intended to protect both parties involved in this special process. The MMPI-2 (personality assessment) is administered with an extensive interview examining family, medical and psychological history. Information is also collected about developmental milestones and challenges, occupational and educational backgrounds, patterns of past stability and the likelihood of follow through. The desire to be part of creating a life is an extraordinary act and must be taken seriously in order to help ensure happiness and success.

PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL & ADHD EVALUATIONS:

Clinical and psychoeducational evaluations are comprised of a set of assessment procedures administered and interpreted to obtain information about a client’s development, learning, memory, academics, behavior and mental health. Different assessment procedures, or a combination of procedures, are used depending upon the referral questions, presenting problems and the past tests administered. After the assessment (information gathering), Dr. Season scores and interprets the results and discusses the findings with the parents / client. The parents / client and Dr. Season most often find it helpful to also discuss the findings with those working with the child. Principals and parent advocates are often involved in the results discussion, as this meeting may be used for intervention development, accommodations and service delivery planning.
