ABOUT OUR TEAM

Asher Hung, MFT

Asher provides eclectic, strength-based, positive, attachment, and Jungian psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families and adolescents. His approach involves non-judgmental interest in your story, your strengths, your circumstances, and your goals. He is curious to learn about how you came to be at this place in your life and where you’d like to go.

Asher has a conversational, honest, and direct style while also expressing deep kindness and sensitivity. He is proudly gay, and offers LGBTQ Affirmative therapy for individuals, partners, and parents.

He believes in the endless pursuit of knowing and understanding ourselves as we evolve and grow in safe and comfortable space and learning about how we came to be from our past and deciding what works for us now.

Asher is a pre-licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with the state of California Board of Behavioral Sciences under supervision from Dr. Dana Season, PSY23196 and with an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles with specialization in Affirmative LGBTQ psychotherapy.
